New Consultancy service

Many electricians would advise you to use the services of a qualified electrician to do your installation, and Rob is no different but the reality is many homeowners in France are trying
to cut their renovation costs.

Rob is now willing to offer an independent consultancy service to help you do the job yourself and still keep you safe and within the law.

Only the consuel can issue a certificate of conformity to French norms.
What Rob can do is check your electrical installation for compliance, offer advice to rectify any abnormalities and instruct the consuel to site visit.
(There would be a charge for consuel inspection approx 140€)

The first stage would be a home visit and consultation, you tell Rob exactly what you want
to achieve, he will give you his assessment and detail on how best to achieve your required result. You then carry out the work in your own time when your half way through contact
rob for your mid term visit, and he will check your work and advise on anything that does
not satisfy French norms, you finish the work, and when you think its all ready for inspection
rob will under-take the following and issue a report,

A visual inspection,
Insulation resistance test,
Continuity test,
Earth test on earth stake ( must be below 100ohms )
Earth continuity test,
Compliance of circuits, protection and equipment to NFC 15-100

Once all is ready and checked Rob will arrange for the consuel Visit for you.

Charge out rates is as follows,

20€ per hour travelling includes fuel,
30€ per hour on site.
